Automating Microsoft Fabric

We’re continuing our Training Day announcements for Data Platform Next Step 2026 with a full day dedicated to automation in Microsoft Fabric.

Build Faster, Deploy Smarter

This hands-on workshop is designed for data engineers and platform teams who want to design, build, and operate a fully automated Fabric data platform — reducing manual effort, lowering risk, and accelerating delivery across environments.

Throughout the day, you’ll work through the full automation lifecycle, including:

  • Spinning up Fabric workspaces, lakehouses, pipelines, and connections using code
  • Implementing metadata-driven ingestion for scalable and repeatable data loading
  • Automating semantic model creation and deployment
  • Using Fabric CLI, REST APIs, and fabric-cicd to script setup and rollout
  • Applying Git-based CI/CD with GitHub or Azure DevOps for confident multi-environment deployments

The workshop is packed with real-world patterns, demos, and ready-to-use scripts — whether you’re starting from scratch or leveling up an existing Fabric platform.

Trainers: Peer Grønnerup and Erwin de Kreuk

Both bring deep, hands-on experience with building and operating Fabric solutions at scale.
